so what is the Cow Parade about???

 

CowParade, the largest and most recognized public art event in the world, is coming to Central Texas. Beginning in July 2011, approximately 100 cows painted by local artists will be on display throughout the community

In October 2011, a select number of cows will be auctioned off and a portion of the proceeds from CowParade Austin will benefit the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas and Superhero Kids Fund. Globally, CowParade has raised in excess of $30 million for its nonprofit partners.
